David Abbinanti is an award-winning songwriter from Long Island, NY.  With a Masters degree in Music Composition from NYU, David has emerged as one of today's most prolific songwriters.  Some of his past accomplishments include winning the National Award for Best Pop Song from the Songwriters Guild of America and NYU’s INMC Award for Songwriting.  Quickly becoming a favorite at clubs throughout the Northeast, David’s debut CD entitled Local Train To Babylon was released in April 2007.  This first album has been receiving a tremendous response as well as excellent reviews.

In addition to his career as a songwriter, he is also on the faculty at Nassau Community College, where he teaches Music Theory, Song Writing, and History of Rock and Roll.

America, ASCAP, National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences, and The National Academy of Popular Music.
